Minimum shader compilation target is 3.5. MacOS has Metal support for Intel HD and Iris Graphics from the HD 4000 series or newer, AMD GCN-based GPUs, and Nvidia Kepler-based GPUs or newer. IOS and tvOS have Metal support for Apple A7 or newer SoC-s.
